I have always wanted to go around Malaysia on a budget. Are the top tourist attractions backpacker friendly?

Yes, Malaysia is very backpacker friendly. You will find backpacker streets in top destinations like Penang, Malacca and in Kuala Lumpur and go around on your own. Ride a bike or take public transportation. The experience is priceless.
