Do Singaporeans hate Malaysians?
Im really curious about this. Do they Singaporeans really hate Malaysians for any reason?
Not really. After all, we come from the same roots. Singapore used to be part of Malaysia or vice versa. The perception that Singaporeans hate Malaysians was played up by competition. There should not be really any hatred between Singaporeans and Malaysians because we are neighbours. Some people who are jealous of Singapore’s success are making comparisons because they cannot lose. Many Malaysians and Singaporeans are still related while Johoreans are known to find employment in Singapore while Singaporeans do invest in property in Johor. So, there are actually more benefit from cooperation than competition.
