As you age, your vision will deteriorate and you will be at risk of common problems like cataracts and near-sightedness. This is a natural occurrence for anyone as your eyes are no longer as sharp as they used to be. Because of this, you must ensure that you take enough minerals that can enhance your vision as you grow older.

Zinc –This mineral is very crucial as it helps your body to absorb vitamin A needed for vision health and is known to reduce night-blindness risks. It is recommended that a normal adult take 25mgs of zinc daily which can enhance your vision health tremendously.

Lutein and Zeaxanthin – Both these minerals are usually sourced from vegetables and are usually found together. They are very potent antioxidants and have been linked to protect the lens and retina. Lutein and Zeaxanthin are found in high concentrations around the eyes and are very crucial when your eyes are exposed to high-energy light waves, particularly if you are facing the computer screen for long hours each day.

Magnesium – This mineral is very vital if you are in the mid-ages category. Magnesium can reduce and protect your eyes from glaucoma while it is being used to treat patients who have this condition. Besides that, magnesium helps in dilating blood vessels, regulating blood flow to the eyes and helps in improving your nerves.

Vitamin C – In order to gain more antioxidant protection for the lens of your eyes, you will need Vitamin C. It has been found that there is 20 times more concentration of Vitamin C in the eyes than in the blood of a normal adult which means you will require sufficient dosage of Vitamin C at all times.

Anybody tried Usana visionex?  I have friends consuming it and it helps to enhance and maintain our vision health. The product stated that it’s specifically formulated with a combination of Vitamin C to be fully absorbed, zinc, magnesium, Lutein and Zeaxanthin, all of which will keep our vision health working efficiently even if you reach the old ages. Why is Visionex different from other so-called ‘vision’ supplements that come with high levels of other vitamins which can be toxic and even damaging to your eyes? Anybody tried it with good results?
